Although you think this is a photoshoped piping plover, it ISN'T! This is actually a mother plover (nice ring to those words) with her chicks. When it is windy and cold, all the chicks rush to the mother and she snuggles with them. Wether this is be to warm the chicks, or to warm the mother, it is hard to tell.
